Best Luxury Cars | The Best New Cars in the Market - Part One

If you are in the market for buying a car in the next few years, don't pass up these six cars that were newly introduced at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show.

1. Honda CR-Z: According the Honda, this "retro" hybrid will get about thirty-six to thirty-eight miles to the gallon. Inside there is a 1.5 liter engine and electric motors for a combined horsepower of 122. Similar to the look and feel of the 1980's CR-X, Honda is taking it a step further with this one; it will be bigger and much safer. With more weight, better airbags, and added body structure, this flashback hatchback is going to be one of the hottest cars on sale this summer.

2. Ford Focus: Ford European Focuses have been selling much better than the other, American modeled Ford Focus. That's why the company has decided to combine forces, and beginning in 2011, Ford will finally offer the same Focus in Europe, the US, and all other markets. What's great about this car is the fact that it's more powerful than ever before. It also gets about 33 miles per gallon, making it about 10% more efficient than before. This is all thanks its new hi-tech 2.0-liter engine and its dual-clutch six-speed automatic transmission. A cross between a manual and automatic experience is preferred by many, that's why there's no question that the new Ford Focus will be one of the most popular buys in the next few years.

3. Lincoln MKX: This vehicle has undergone a number of improvements to boast about. Besides its signature "bow wave" grill, and a more flowing design, this new Lincoln crossover is equipped with a 3.7-liter V6 engine, getting about a 305-horsepower. Making its way into the luxury brand, the much improved interior of the MKX is more fitting for its category. One of the best parts about this SUV is that it will be a lot quieter than the competing crossovers such as the Audi and Lexus. Besides the new and improved engine, you'll see a manually shiftable six-speed automatic transmission under your hood. Ford is also proud to include the first use of the MyLincoln Touch interface. This system is a maxed-out version of Ford's popular Sync software allowing drivers to operate their cell phones, play music players, make voice commands, and experience other functional features that will make it easier for drivers of the MKX to avoid taking hands off the wheel and their eyes on the road.

With newer technologies, improved bodies and interiors, and more powerful engines than ever before, these three cars will likely be on the list of top buys in the upcoming years. The greatest thing about cars such as this is that they are so advanced, and so refined that aftermarket auto parts are almost unnecessary. Be sure to check out the second half of this article. There are three other cars that will make it big in the following years.
